News: Stay Current June 30, 2004 - The Detroit Pistons are the NBA champions, they defeated the LA Lakers in 5 games, winning 4-1. The Detroit Tigers are winners again, this time over the Cleveland Indians, with their 3rd straight walk-off homerun, this time by Dimitri Young, the previous two were; Carlos Pena, and Eric Munson.
